Does the Water Powered Car Really Exist?

15 August, 2008 (00:00) | By: paully1111

Water powered cars have always been considered as a myth among all engineers and scientists. Even professors claim this to be false. This myth is now turning out to be true owing to the advent of science and technology to support this theory. The engines split the water into hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis.

The hydrogen and oxygen gas are then used for replacing the gasoline. This concept has been prevalent ever since the formation of the prime internal combustion engine. The theory is being practiced by BMW and Hyundai proposes to employ this theory as well.

Manufacturers in Japan have endorsed this concept. There are many patents and devices regarding this theory. A Japanese company called Genepax has modeled a car which works on water. There are various methods of getting energy from water. The two most important methods are based on the chemical content of water and electrolysis.

The chemical content of water is divided into hydrogen and oxygen. The fusion of these would release tremendous energy. Similarly electrolysis would help in removing hydrogen from water and assist in the propulsion of the vehicle.

Genepax has unveiled a machine which is based on the water energy. They have designed a method to extract the hydrogen from the water. This gaseous hydrogen is allowed to run the engine thereby making the car run with a prime source of water alone. This is done by means of an energy generator which splits the water into its gaseous components commonly called the Brown’s gas. However various negative claims have been made regarding this car and hence this model has not yet been publicized.

The quest for alternative fuels is being carried out in many countries like the United States, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and India. Many have agreed on the fact that waging wars for the sake of oil is inappropriate. The entire internal combustion engine motors need to be modified to run on water alone.

This can be made possible by splitting the water into hydrogen and oxygen to propel the machine. There would be a decrease in the pollution caused by the burning of the fossil fuels. The craze for want of oil would also reduce greatly, thereby putting an end to the hapless wars which are being fought for the sake of these oils. The gas stations, oil refineries, oil tankers and other things can be reduced as well. This would put an end to the era of oil. The ozone layer is being affected by the burning of fossil fuels which trigger the production of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.

They also release Sulphur and nitrogen toxins thereby causing further damage to ozone layer.
Hence, the quest for oil should be dropped and the resources spent should be directed towards research and development of these water powered cars.

Did you know that you can convert your car to a water-burning car? You can run your car on water, supplemental to gasoline, to increase your car’s fuel efficiency and reduce your fuel costs significantly. Works on gas or diesel powered cars, vans, trucks, and SUVs.
