Diamonds Are Magic Touched By Divinity

12 November, 2008 (00:00) | By: DerekDashwood

Down through the annals of history, gemstones and loose diamonds have been held in special reverence. Their other worldly qualities perhaps,or the fire inside; the way they reflected different aspects of their inner refinements, as you turned the stone around slowly in your hand in front of a camp fire light. If you can imagine the people from prior to one hundred thousand years ago, or even merely ten thousand years ago.

We were a pre scientific people who would have feared special powers in rubies or diamonds. Or saphires that glistened like magic at a camp fire in the dark, in teir imaginations they saw more than was there at times.Imagine you are one of those peoples, we carry their DNA, is is us who would gather for securiy around a roaring protective fire at night to scare back the fiercest beasts as we control the fire and only we can wave fire sicks at the beasts.Imagine the rare day when a new trader arrived bearing gifts of diamonds or rubies or gems never before seen by your group.

And to trade from any goods they had in their primitive shacks or yhurts for such a sparkling jewels? Your animal hides and samples of raw cut slabs of meat that were going to go bad quickly in this heat. But his magical piece of sone sones from far away from here was a reassurance that could live on forever. Magical powers began to be asssumed to reside in these rare gems. Holy men who were powerful and close to the ruler would ingratiate their ways into this wealth.

Often a divining rod or special rod or staff had a precious gem placed a its apex. Certainly the holy men as well as the ruler and his close adult family would be likely adorned wih finery in clohing. And also to match and ehance your regal finery now. Soon would be more rare jewels and gems on their bodies, around their neck, the forehead, arms and fingers, toes wih fabled small rings. We see this in ancient Egyptian sociey. These exravegant fashions survived the French Revolution and continue to this day, with celebrities and starlets resplendent in their gala parties.

The purchase of a diamond can be an elecric time of excitement and joy for two people in love. This will be their defining expression from this moment on their lives. And between them both from that moment that ring slides on her finger, you both now know you are to be as one as you have never known. And a tiny ring, or are grand ring, makes happiness possible, necessary, and by God’s good will to be done. Well done, bravo.

Many a weak knee has faltered and lives quiely in silence and alone and unhappy, you can be sure. You want enjoyment for whether your purchase of this diamond is merely for fancy. Or perhaps only a souvenier and somehing for a friend. Or for a remembrance of some past happy event that you can now enjoy. Or the creation and expression as a holy union, the forming in wedlock of a man and a woman for he rest of their days, God be willing. So we can see the purchase of a gemstone, and particularly a diamond, can be an enchanted moment.

Not only have you by now done your homework and studyied how to read through a loupe at flaws or perfecions. These imperfecions are there,or not, but to be seen, inside gemsones and most of all diamonds. But you also are learnng enough to ask the right quesions. Carry your small gemologists tool, a glorified magnifying glass called the loupe. The loupe is your gemstone companion, so you can inspect a gem closely, in the correct lighting, and notice which gems have flaws.

Always ask to check your diamond wihout the mounting, which can hide flaws. Enjoy. You are embarking an enjoyable advenure that could enhance your enjoyment of diamonds and gemsones. Yes you can realize great pleasure from collecing gemsones and diamonds which is good for your soul, but diamonds and gemstones are good no doubt also for your bottom line. Loose diamonds are scatered about, it is for you to see your pure diamond in the bunch.
